I graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a bachelor degree in middle childhood and early adolescence. During my time there, I studied abroad in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

I began my career student teaching in Houston, Texas and then stayed there for 2 years to teach 1st grade. After moving back to Wisconsin, I was the director of a child care center. I then worked in Greenwood for 3 years as a Spanish teacher. This is my 3rd year in the Augusta district. I taught 5th grade my first year, and have been teaching middle school for the past two years.

I am from Coon Valley, WI and went to Aquinas High School in La Crosse. My husband, Patrick, and I live in Chippewa Falls with our two kids, Crosby and Stella. I enjoy travelling and spending time with my family. My favorite places I've been so far are Norway and Costa Rica. I also enjoy running, cooking and reading.
