BASEBALL - COACH PITCH
This team will consist of male players from grades 1 & 2 (current school year). Coaches will focus on teaching participants the fundamental skills needed to play the game of baseball.
Season Dates
Practices will begin in April and the season will conclude in mid-late June. Practices will take place on one of our school district fields in Augusta. Games will be played in Augusta and other surrounding communities. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from games.
Items Needed to Participate
Participants will need a glove, cleats, and a water bottle. Prior to the first game your child will be provided with a school issued uniform and hat. Bats and helmets will also be provided by the youth recreation program.

This team will consist of male players from grades 3 & 4 (current school year). Coaches will focus on teaching participants the fundamental skills and strategies needed to play the game of baseball.

This team will consist of male players from grades 5 & 6 (current school year). Coaches will focus on continuing to teach participants the fundamental skills and strategies needed to play the game of baseball while also introducing standard rules and increased competition.

Practices will begin in April and the season will conclude in mid-late June. Practices will take place on one of our school district fields in Augusta. Games will be played in Augusta and other surrounding communities. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from games.

This team will consist of male players from grades 7 & 8 (current school year). Coaches will focus on continuing to teach participants the fundamental skills, strategies, and rules needed to play the game of baseball while also preparing them to play at a higher level. Most standard baseball rules are used.
