What is FCCLA?

 FCCLA stands for: Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.

A few ways FCCLA helps Students…

• To develop career skills and learn to balance career and family responsibilities.
• Improve self-esteem.
• Develop a personal leadership style.
• Identify concerns, make decisions, and carry out activities.
• Further explore, careers in the Family and Consumer Science field.

Commitment to FCCLA

• Pick a project that you qualify for, complete the project, prepare to present, and create a schedule with Mrs. King. (to work on projects).
• Monthly group meetings and help plan and execute School wide events.
• Local competition is at UW-Stout in February

What else?

• Leadership opportunities are available at the local and state level that students will be eligible to apply and run for next school year if interested.
• Students who are in FCCLA must have taken a FCE class.
• Students who do well at local competition a 90% or better, are eligible to attend and compete at the State Level.
