A few ways FCCLA helps Students…
To develop career skills and learn to balance career and family responsibilities.
Improve self-esteem.
Develop a personal leadership style.
Identify concerns, make decisions, and carry out activities.
Further explore, careers in the Family and Consumer Science field.
Commitment to FCCLA
Pick a project that you qualify for, complete the project, prepare to present, and create a schedule with Mrs. King. (to work on projects).
Monthly group meetings and help plan and execute School wide events.
Local competition is at UW-Stout in February
What else?
Leadership opportunities are available at the local and state level that students will be eligible to apply and run for next school year if interested.
Students who are in FCCLA must have taken a FCE class.
Students who do well at local competition a 90% or better, are eligible to attend and compete at the State Level.
