I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, with a bachelor degree in Middle Childhood and Early Adolescence and a Mathematics minor.

Throughout my educational training at UW- Eau Claire, I had the privilege of teaching and observing in various locations and communities. My first teaching experience was a semester at the Chippewa Valley Montessori School. This was an outstanding experience, of which I got my first insight of a student centered classroom. I was lucky enough to travel to Washington D.C. to work in a third grade classroom. I spent a semester in a 4th grade classroom at Northwoods Elementary in Eau Claire, before beginning my internship in Augusta, mentored by Ms. Mason. Lastly, I was a long term sub in a Middle School classroom last semester, of which I taught Math and Reading.

I grew up in Merrillan, WI, graduating from Alma Center Lincoln High School. My family owns and operates a Christmas Tree Farm, which has been a huge part of my life growing up. I love to travel! If I have free time, you can bet I'm traveling. Additionally, I enjoy running, yoga, snowboarding and volleyball. I have ran six half marathons, and it's my goal to spend a month in India to get my yoga instructors license. I also enjoyed my first year of coaching volleyball last year for Augusta Middle School, and can't wait to continue that this year.
