Graduate of UW-Stout with a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Family Services. I obtained my Cross-categorical Special Education Teaching License from the University of St. Mary's in Minneapolis.

Worked for three years as a Primary Counselor at a residential mental health treatment center for adolescents. Then, worked for five years as a Qualified Mental Health Professional for a collection of adolescent Day Treatment programs. Also worked for the county for three years as the Juvenile Educational Counselor. These experiences guided me towards a new career in education.

I was born, raised and graduated from Augusta. I live with my wife and two children in Eau Claire. We spend our free time in the outdoors camping, fishing and hiking. I also enjoy playing guitar and being the middle school track coach.
