The Augusta Area School District uses two important tools to monitor our growth towards our continuous improvement goals that are outlined in our District's Strategic Plan in the form of our Four Core Strategies. These tools serve as our accountability measuring stick. The two tools that are used include our District's Balanced Scorecard which outlines our key performance objectives, how we plan to measure our growth, and the results we are striving for. The second tool the District uses as an accountability barometer is our performance dashboard which is depicted below.
The dashboard measures results related directly to our Four Core Strategies. The results the dashboard specifically monitors and reports on are: the number of co-curricular opportunities available for students, percentage of graduating seniors that pursue postsecondary education, ACT composite score, number of students that perform at a level of proficiency in literacy using multiple data points, number of students that perform at a level of proficiency in math using multiple data points, number of office discipline referrals, number of Advanced Placement & Transcripted Courses offered by our staff, and job satisfaction of the District's employees. The dashboard offers an in-depth look at key areas of performance for our District.
